Interested in 2007 IS250 AWD
I have a 2017 IS300 now, but i want to keep it for a long time so i really want to keep it out of rainy and snowy weather conditions, so i am looking into this 2007 IS250 AWD as an everyday car and I am going to go look at it tuesday, i was wondering about some things to look for under the engine bay and inside while looking at it and starting it up... i am leaving a link to it down below

Looks pretty good for a car that has that many miles on it. Personally this is the first time I've heard of a 3IS person considering a 2IS. Off the top of my head, check for carbon buildup issues, seized rear calipers, water pump noises(if any) and smooth shifting. Check the repair history for recalls. Airbag, interior/dashboard, fuel pressure sensor. Else check it out like any other car and bring it to a local mechanic to jack it up and check out the bottom of the car for other issues(rust, old bushings, deteriorating gaskets, etc).

Looks like someone went through the entire car and slathered it in Armor All. I'd have them wipe that junk off before buying it before it stains up everything (it's even on the gauge cluster....). Looks like it has the infamous dash/door panel melting problem, I'd stop by a Lexus dealer (or call corporate) with the VIN just to be sure it's still eligible for primary coverage replacement of the dash and door panels under the recall (I think it ends in May 17, then secondary coverage begins where it's either 8 or 9 years from first use date to be eligible for a free replacement).
Otherwise, the car itself looks fairly clean. Get a carfax, check service history (check if all recalls have been performed). Not a fan of the painted stock rims, probably a younger owner previously. I'd have them come down in price though, It's a base 250 AWD with only the premium package, no nav or anything else. At the very least, they need to come down $1-1500 in the price. Check KBB values, and see vehicles that are similarly optioned in your area for prices. Only thing to worry about on the 250 is the carbon buildup.

Mind if I ask what's your zip code? I'm only getting 7800-8600 (good-very good condition) when putting in the car's options that I can see (no nav, no mark levinson, no backup camera, no rear parking sensors) with a zip code in Princeton, NJ. Even using my own zip code, prices are nearly the same +-100.
