Default Water under the car

Hi Community!

i have encounteted a problem: yesterday during putting my car into the garage, I drove 50meters from my house to closed garrage. After an hour I've seen a bit of water approximately under the engine.

What may have caused that leak, if my air-conditioning was turned off and it was a 2-minute drive?

is it typical behaviour of IS II AWD from 2009?

regards,
Arthur

Had the front defroster on by any chance? The compressor will still run and will still put out some water from the drain hoses. Some cars even with the a/c is "off", it's not truly off. Or, just condensation in general. Hot radiator, cool air, you'll still get some water.

Has it rained on your car recently? Could be excess water from the drains.

The day before i took a 300 kilometer journey where I've encoutered some rain storms. Maybe something was still inside the pipe systems.
What do you mean by a defroster? How possibly I've could used it in summer?

Front defroster = air blowing at the windshield (cold or hot). Some people may leave it at that setting.

All the answers sounds very good
I needed that to make myself calm about that leak. Will observe the car and report if any serious matters occur

Was it water or coolant that will answer your question.

With ANY fluids, you need to do the sniff and feel test. Oil/ATF/gear oil/coolant are obvious by their look and smell. Windshield washer fluid, water, or water from condensation are the difficult ones to pinpoint. But if it was coming from near the middle of the car (about where the trans is), it's probably the A/C drain.
