Hi Guys, looking to buy a used 2008 used IS250 with 130,000 miles on it and I was wondering what I would be probably having to worry about in terms of part failure. I know it's been maintained well so I just want to get a sense of what system could fail next; a/c, transmission, engine etc.

Carbon buildup. All 250s have it,

 

Water pump and alternators are relatively common for early 2IS's (250 or 350). The 250 has the added bonus of the carbon build up issue, I'd check to see if it went in to the dealer for the "fix". (if not, I believe Lexus gives a 9 year/unlimited mile time limit to bring it in).

Besides that? Nothing really. Just change the spark plugs if they haven't been done, and all the fluids (coolant, brake, tranny, and rear diff)
