Default 2nd Generation Production Numbers for USA

This has come up a few times before, not sure if it's all been put together, so I looked into it and put the following chart together, in case anyone is interested. Couldn't find any information for 2014 model year unfortunately.

I was very surprised at the numbers of MT models. Lower than I thought they would be, especially for 2009+ model years.

This also explains why it's so hard to find any used parts from 2013-14 IS F's, haha.

Interesting. I'm sure the RWD and AWD figures would swap for Canada. I think for some of the newer ISs you can only spec them in AWD here.

Yeah, if you want a RWD IS in Canada you now have to get the IS200t. The IS300 and IS350 are both only available with AWD.

I'm a bit surprised 350 numbers fell off after 08. I'm going to assume that's just Lexus adjusting production numbers though, same with the F after 08. Although, I guess I can believe the 350 sales at least, on a good week, I can expect to see at least 1 350 to 10 250's (which is of course the ratio of sales)

Thanks for finally getting the official 2IS US production figures! I've always been wondering what the total production of 2IS350 was and the ratio of 250s vs 350s.

Well 2008 is when the economy started to tank. All ISx50s dropped after 2008.

I would love to see it broken down by color/option package but expect that info is not available.

Welp that explains why 350s are so hard to find. They only make up ~15% of the total sales. The IS-F only made about 2%. Hopefully these cars will appreciate a little bit in the future, although I have lots of doubt about that

Do these numbers reflect the Sales in USA or also Production (Assembly) in USA?? I thought they were assembled in Japan?

These are the numbers produced for the USA market.

They were all made in Japan.
