Opt7 LED Clearance Issue IS250
I recently purchased a set of low beam h11 opt7 led, but I ran into some clearance issues. The base of the bulb is rubbing against the inside metal part of the headlight housing. Does anyone had any issues with this and if you did, any solutions to this problem?

Yeah, putting the stuff in the housing is not a problem. Everything fits. It just i can't screw in the bulb because of the metal base of the bulb is rubbing with the inner metal part of the housing. So the bulb doesn't twist while is in and I can't secure it. Also, did you do the install on your fog lights?

Hey I had the same problem with one of the bulb and fixed it by removing the excessive plastic near the housing as seen below:

yes mine rubbed against it, and found out the excessive plastic near the housing was causing it not to be seated in properly causing the rubbing. It took me a good 20mins to figure it out lol.
Edited:
Sorry read too fast, mine LED set didn't have that metal budge so I don't know if that will stop it from rubbing.

I might have to return them and get different ones. I don't want to shave off the piece of metal off the headlight. Any suggestions to this or any other brand that I should buy?
