No Power on OBD 2 port?
So I got my tires replaced along with the TPMS sensors like 2 months ago, finally decided to have the new sensors programmed yesterday to get rid of the light. However the tire shop told me there was no power to the OBD2 port...I thought it was BS since the car passed DMV inspection and I had used a bluetooth dongle for the Torque App and it had all worked previously last year. Well this year it isn't working...bluetooth dongle doesn't get power either.
Any idea what's wrong? I have not done any aftermarket work to the car, car is as stock as stock can be...doesn't seem like anyone else has had this problem and I hate electrical gremlins...Fuses are good...

Update: Awesome guys, thanks for the help. Busted out the multi meter and checked every fuse in the car, 7.5 amp fuse labeled OBD in the passenger footwell fuse box is busted. Haven't replaced it yet but I'm more than confident it's the issue. Thank you guys!
Glad it was resolved.

Ok to clear the air here...The OBD 2 fuse is NOT located on the passenger's side footwell. It is identified as Fuse #9 in the Owners Manual and it is located on the Drivers side footwell. USER'S TAKE NOTE: For anyone looking where the fuse locations are within the SC430, please look at the Owners manual, as it lists where the fuse panels are located and identifies each fuse by number, size and designation (which circuit the fuse is designated to protect).
I just replaced mine bc it was blown. Although that did not fix the OBDII port not powering on for me unfortunately. Any tips?

uhh wdym? for 2IS350/3GS350 it is under passenger foot well fuse box, labelled OBD 7.5A. Maybe delete your comment bc it very brashly may deter other forum readers. Maybe you meant to post in SC subforum?

What else does or does not work? Does it run?
car runs just fine, but also just got a check engine light as well right around the same time. That’s what triggered me to plug in my scanner and then I found out the OBD2 port was not working. I’ll check again tonight to see if it blew again as I bought extra 7.5 amp fuses.
Thanks @NormzGS350, edited it accordingly to not mislead with my previous comment.

Okay, so i unhooked my battery and it cleared the check engine light, and the light didn’t come back on, so there’s that at least. I tried to replace the 7.5A OBD fuse in the passenger footwell but every time i put in a 7.5A fuse it sparks and blows. I went through 3 fuses in 2 mins. Everything else works fine, but I still want to have my OBDII port functional. Also kind of curious to know what the original CEL was about anyways but i’ll take no CEL over having one lol. Any ideas guys? I have a multimeter but what else can I test? Do i test all of the fuses in the passenger footwell to see if they’re blown? PS my cigarette charger still works and charges my phone. Any ideas though?
maybe the legendary @ibidu1 has any suggestions?

Okay, so another thing that i’m immediately noticing: the car headlights and fogs stay on even after I click the lock button twice on fob. I used to have this issue a long time ago and idk what I did to fix it but i guess it’s back now, and the timing is just suspicious…
For context:
-A few weeks ago, took out the battery after i got it tested healthy, to wire-wheel brush all the (minor) corrosion off the terminals and the connectors, i felt after that the car audio system was slightly louder/richer, maybe just a placebo?
-Last week, i changed all the spark plugs, everything went smoothly, but like 100 miles later, the CEL popped up and then the obd2 issue happened
- I have an amp hooked up to the car along with 4 door speakers and a subwoofer, have never had issues before tbh, i installed myself
- I have LEDs for everything in the car, other than the turn signals. never had an issue before with any leds getting fried
- Alternator was replaced/reman’d at 102k miles by South County Mission Viejo Lexus dealership
- Battery tested healthy and is barely 3 years old, got it in Dec 2022 from costco (Interstate 24 Megatron-Prime, lol lmk if you get that reference)
just scratching my head now, dunno what coulda caused it

Did you ever end up replacing it and it was a success?
