Default Possible to fix windshield chips?

Is it possible to fix the small chips on the windshield that doesn't have any cracks at all? I had a small crack that was filled, and it turned out pretty good, and I wonder if the same can be done if when there is no crack. The chips look like the white spot in the picture (it's my car's hood, but it looks the same). I wonder if insurance would cover it; there are about 6 of them.

Safelite Auto Glass is a nationwide company. Here in my area they do a good job fixing chips, as long as it's a reputable chip and not a crack.

I'm pretty sure your insurance can cover it. My local Sam's Club does windshield chip repair, so I'm sure other ones do too.

I've used a small store bought kit by RainX on my wife's old car that works pretty well . Repairs don't look transparent, but the resin fills the impact area and prevents it from cracking. When I traded her old car, I moved that kit to the 07 RX350 we just bought. It has a new windshield, but I won't hesitate to fill any impacts that might crack with the resin from that kit. It does stop spreading and further cracking, at least until you can have a new windshield installed.
