Dash Warning Lights Worrying Me
In the last week the airbag light and CEL came on. Code P0174--bank 2 run lean condition. I researched the forum on both--found out the airbag light could be the pin connector. Lexus dealer said could be that or general problem with any part of the system. P0174 could be dirty or bad injector. Both codes were reset.
Anytime a warning light comes on I see lots of $$$$$ signs. Will monitor the situation!

My 06 had the airbag light issue, if I remember correctly it was the wiring harness was tripping the system to show an error but it did not effect the actual system.. I may have remembered that wrong but at the time I just removed the cluster and covered the light as a solution. Again, my memory may be wrong but I believe that even if you fix the wiring, the problem can still arise which is why I went that route.

You should be able to tell which cyl is "lean" then replace that injector, which is more than likely your problem.

code p0174 and p0171 system too leaned = vacuum hose leak, Ken, 1st throw some good Fuel injector in your gas tank, replace your air filter 2nd clean your maf sensor check all wiring and hoses. reset the code again, if 0174 don't come back in 200 miles then you are good.
You are getting p0174 alone i'm pretty sure one of the hose around your air filter box is lose but then you already there so just do it all at once.
