removed OEM spoiler
used goo-gone and got rid of as much residue as possible
used soapy detergent water to get rid of goo-gone and finger grease/oils
use soapy detergent to clean the spoiler, dry throughly. I even used a hair blow dryer to make sure it's dried and apply some heat
applied 3m tape (roughly 1 inch wide") all around the borders.
Applied 2 pieces of 3m tape (roughly 6 inch in length) in the middle of the spoiler, for good measure/safety
used hair blow dryer on the 3m tape and pressed firmly.
PARTIALLY Peel 3m tape so that I can rip it off when mounted
aligned and placed spoiler onto trunk
removed the red part of the 3m tape
pressed firmly all around to make sure every part of tape is stuck (firm enough to move my car back and fourth)
left my car in the hot sun for hours
came back to press my spoiler again for funsies
have you thought about how you'd be able to take it off? Also mounted with tape but by the looks of it, I feel like it isn't going to come off for a long time.. Reason being that I plan to wrap the car.

i dont plan to take it off, but as always, plans do change. if i do want to take it off, i would spray goo-gone and gently use a credit card to dig in and take off the 3m tape. and slowly but surely, detach the spoiler.

Yes the Wald should have a cut out for the emblem. You just take off your emblem where it sits currently and place it on the new wing. I bought a rep from ebay for about $80 non painted and had it painted and installed for me by a local body shop. I think it came out perfect and made a big difference to my cars looks, especially for being a relatively cheap mod. I used to have a rep oem spoiler and even though the Wald wing is everywhere, I think it's still the best looking one for our cars. Hence why it is popular.

I got mine from oemdirect and the paint was as close as you can hope for with 077 Starfire pearl. Also the fitment was good, I have no complaints.
The original lexus logo fits just fine on mine, just have to pull the old one and 3m tape it back on.

you can buy it painted from eBay sellers. I think it is less hassle to bring it to a shop and tel him the paint code and have them find it.
