Help Cusco front sway bar for IS350
Hi All,
Today ordered Cusco front sway bar model: 199 311 A30 for my IS350 2008 (Japanese import) fromNengun. After i placed my order I realized it stated ' compatible with both the Lexus IS350 GSE21, and the IS250 GSE20 ( Late Model 2008/8- - RWD - Front 30mm ) I have asked Nengun, they have not been helpful to answer my question, apart from i will need to pay 30% restocking fee if i want to get it refund. I think my IS350 is made before 2008 August. Does it mean it will not fit my IS350?

i bought a megan racing front sway bar. the description says it fits only 06-08. so there must be differences after 08
BUT:
https://www.nengun.com/auction/item/o155713278
there is a chart, says it fits both

The end links changed between 2006-2008 and 2009+. If you get the newer bar and want to use it on an older car, you will also need the newer end links. So as far as that goes, it will all bolt in without any issues.
That said, the HID leveling sensor bolts on to the sway bar for 2006-2008 and bolts to the control arm on 2009+, so if you don't have HID's, it doesn't matter, but if you do have HID's, you may need to get the level sensor from a 2009+ as well.

You can get the links from Lexus and/or some other local parts supplier I would think.
If your car has HID's, the sensor is used to automatically adjust the headlight leveling to avoid dazzling oncoming traffic. If your car has the sensors you will likely want to use them, if you unplug it, you will get a warning on your dash. For purchasing this you will likely have to get it from Lexus or somewhere used like a junkyard or eBay.

Do you have HID? If you don't, then you'll just need to get the end links. That's only if it doesn't fit -- since you don't know if it fits, and you don't seem to know if you have HID. If you have to swap so many parts, why don't you just get a sway bar that's actually for your model year car? All the extra parts is probably more than the 30% restocking fee.

Will this one work http://www.ebay.com/itm/162032518262 ? Anyone had experience with ROCA product? It says better than OEM.
