Default seafoam question

hello all

did my misfire recall in 2013 and all of a sudden im starting to feel it again....only drove around 10k since the recall *going to work and car shows* Wondering if seafoam would work to clean it off and help ?

It fixed the rough idle on my Ferrari that no mechanic seemed to be able to fix.

I am a firm believer in Seafoam and use it regularly on my IS, as well.

For $10 a can its worth a shot - this maybe have something to do with carbon build up??

Yes. Follow the instructions. You can run it through the vaccuum line, in the engine oil, AND run a can through the gas tank.

nice thanks for the reply been scared and doing a lot of reviews and yes for my carbon buildup

I alway run them to gas tank will try other way. IS250 have carbon build up you should run it hard couple time a month.

i do but way to much cops like today was going to smash then look over cop on a bike lol

weird thing is my OCC has no oil in it ?

was it free ? my dealer charged me 100 an hr and he said itll take 6 hrs to jsut check it out

Just run it through your intake. If you want to run something through the gas tank buy some fuel injector cleaner. If you put it in your oil do it right before an oil change. As far as running it through the intake on my is350 there was a cap next to the throttle body I removed to get vacuum as it was much easier than dealing with the lines. If you cup your hand against it and pour slowly into your hand it should go in easily. Don't forget to go for a quick aggressive drive afterwards to suck all the seafoam through that settles in the manifold.

Yes. The directions are on the can.

Seafoam IS a fuel injector cleaner. Read the label.
