Major Transmission Leak HELP!!!
Not too much pics, thankfully it is still in one piece and already started dealing with insurance. I did put the new tranny in my car and it drives now, the fluid in the transmission I bought was still clear red with no signs of dirt.
Sounds like the used trans is working out well for you.
About the fire damage, I'd get the opinion in writing from a detailing expert on whether or not your paint can be saved or whether it would need a new paint job. If your car was near enough to the fire that your rear taillight started to melt, I cannot imagine the potential damage to the paint that caused.
