So I have a 2007 IS 250 and I am very new to this luxurious car considering my previous car was a 2000 Honda Accord. Anyway my mirrors were tilting in reverse when I first got my car and now they aren't. One thing to consider, I played with a lot of controls to see what does what and I was wondering if there is some sort of switch that turns them off and on? I tried to google this and it seemed like anything related was about the mirrors being broken. Thank you.

 

Make sure the switch that you adjust mirrors with is set to either L or R if it's in the center it will not tilt.

not only you didn't pay attention on the side mirror setting to enable tilting function

 

Does the passenger side mirror not tilt as much as the driver side? Or do I have a bad actuator? I would love for the passenger side to tilt more when I parallel park.

Could be something wrong with the mirror. Ever since I replaced the stock courtesy lamp lights with white led ones, you mirror havent worked like they used too... I'm guessing I put them on wrong or I broke something lol.
