painting polyurathane lips need help.
Im planning on getting a wald rep spoiler and a lip kit that is polyurathane, for those of you who painted them did you had to use a flex agent so the paint wont crack when your fitting on the lips and wald spoiler ? What is the whole process for these lips? Any Shop you recommend in the bay area to paint and install these for a good price.

This is what was done to mine.
2. Wash plastic with 3M solution for raw plastics (this dissolves any chemicals that may be left on the plastic from the mold).
3. Sand the raw plastic with 3M grey scuff pad.
4. Spray PPG’s raw plastic adhesion promoter- let flash
5. Spray sealer on raw plastic (this acts as another adhesion promoter and cushion between the raw plastic and paint. This also contains flex additive).
6. After the sealer has flashed, then spray the basecoat- cover entire bumper. Flash.
7. Then spray the pearl coat. Spray as many times as needed to match the rest of vehicle. Flash.
8. Then the top clear coat is applied. 1.5-2 coats.
End product was fantastic! I then had the lip clear bra. Sick !
