Default Genuine Denso Spark Plugs?

I don't thinks the top one is Genuine, Close look on those letter that engraving on a metal, the deep in 1 letter must even same deep of cut evenly ( let say the O the top of letter O is narrow but a bottom is wider and deeper) , the with of the letter must be even to. The Blue letter is not Sharp, blurry. A lot of fake Parts on Ebay and Amazon now, like Sensor : o2 , Air fuel , Knock. Like Gas cap, fuel cap ect.......

Wow, good question! 1st check would be, who was the retailer of the Plugs, if a good reliable source, then that can confirm the plug is OEM. The observation regarding the part number print makes sense and likewise the stampings being rough can be a symptom of not being OEM.

The fake ones nowadays can look like the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), they have come a long way in terms of aesthetics. The danger if the functional performance might not be up to snuff with the OEM.

For example I replaced a radiator this weekend, I bought a DENSO branded radiator. 6 years ago I bought an aftermarket radiator for $150. The same radiator of Amazon, branded DENSO was $58. It came with a box that said DENSO. Overall looks are the same as my previous. So who knows. I guess time will tell.

If the price seems too good to be true, it usually is. Bell Lexus sells a set on eBay for $80 I believe.

Regarding my post #15, I replaced the ebay coils with the 200 mile originals. Our trusty Tundra is back!
I had nuthin' but trouble with the ebay "Toyota" coils. There is zero chance they were not fakes.
If it seems too good to be true...

When it comes to spark plugs and ignition coils, always buy them from the dealers. Avoid Ebay or Amazon because 99.9% of them are fake.

hi there i am on market for replacing spark plugs on my lexus es .gs.rx I was buying them over ebuy only .and yes there is concerns about fake plugs too.let me tell you i am about 600 000 km on gs 450h and i was using only spark plugs of ebuy .amazon was way to expensive.rockauto was ok but expensive shipping.my es 300h about 400 000 km spark plugs from ebay too.i think even if they use fake printing spark plug mast pass quality check before is on market and those sellers from china are well aware of that.even most expensive set shipped from usa is coming from china too i saw on one add on ebay.my target price is about $30 USA for set of 4 for es 300h and about $25 to $30 USA for set of 6 for gs 450h and rx 450h.

Your English translator rough, feedback is borderline spam.
Chinese QC on EBAY quality checks LMAO, SERIOUSLY!?
I have been a victim of fake spark and glow plugs (for nitro rc engines), all I got from that is to never ever use fake plugs. Seller refunded the money and threw them away. Inconsistent tuning, continuous foul plugs, misfires, pinging. My Lexus will only have genuine (Lexus/Toyota) and no other.
If one is that cheap to roll on a Lexus and then cheap out on basic maintenance, might as well dont have one. Either commit to the brand or dont.

If you're paying $30 for a set of 6 "OEM Denso plugs", I can pretty much guarantee they're not real plugs. As technology gets better, it's getting harder and harder to determine if something is fake. There are plenty of guides around the internet for helping you determine if you have a fake set or not.

Precious Metals are optional. They can change them every 10,000 miles like the good old days!

2008 GS350 - I had slight oil in my tube seals in most, but my #3 plug (passenger middle) had a decent amount of oil. All the plugs looked relatively normal after 60k miles, but the same #3 plug had decent amount of white deposits and the electrode seemed burnt some.
