I saw in a thread you cannot download the FSM in PDF off the techinfo.toyota site- IS that correct?
If I cannot get my hands on a free factory service manual I well let my girlfriend keep her IS and I will stick with my Infinitis. Dont think Id buy a lexus if there is no service manual available without subscription LAME

yes you cannot download PDF unless you start printing those HTML in pdf from techinfo
alldatadiy offers an annual subscription for a good price. It is a relatively small cost (a tank of gas?) for a full year.

Thanks for the other option, I get what you are saying, I am not trying to be cheap just hate logging into a website to view it, the acobat reader is very easy to use and organized very well on my g35 FSM
I also want a genium FSM and not after market (possibly less accurate)

I've been on this board for a couple months and now see why people on here only put wheels and exhaust on their car, nobody is really into getting thier hands dirty
Although, I did appreciate your 6 speed swap Jeff Lange

I think I partly disagree on second part.
Yes there are a lot of people on here that only deals with wheel, exhaust and lowering only
but there are quite a few nicely written posts covering from Jeff's 6 speed swap, DIY intake cleaning on 250, solenoid replacement in tranny, to modding the non-nav ISx50 to take a double DIN by LexManG and regular wear and tear item replacement. As a DIY inclined owner myself (only taking my car to shop for repairs like A/C), I find a little searching helps finding most procedures I need.
and these guys have the detailed parts diagram which really helps understanding how everything puts together
