Press and hold the traction button for line 5 seconds I think. Maybe longer, not sure. Every IS after the 06 model year is the same.

So here's the update I got my car back and running from the shop, last night I installed the module which was off a 2007 IS350 and now I can confirm that traction does in fact get disabled fully like in 2007+ cars. The only drawback is that on the dash you get the red triangle and it says VSC Test Mode which I believe is okay from reading on here. So if any of the 2006 guys/girls want to fully disable traction with the push of a button buy the skid control module that says VT on it and have fun. I suggest someone hop on the deal in the classifieds as that's the second cheapest I've seen. As for the install it takes about 10 minutes and all you need is a 10mm socket.
