Speedometer not work HELP!!!
I have a 07 is250 that has been struck by lighting. Not sure if that is the reason why my speedometer is not working well I'm pretty sure it is but I bought this car year ago and it's salvage car so no warranties on it. So back to the point my speedometer, temperature and the computer that reads the mpg and all of that is not working. Plus the gear position isn't either. The only thing that works is the rpm and gas gauge. What do you guys think I should check first or try to fix??? Please somebody help its getting very annoying that I have no idea how fast I'm going so I had to download a speedometer app...

Do you know which fuse i should look for? It stays at 54000 miles but I'm pretty sure it has about 80000-90000 on it. My dealer told me it's not the cluster it's some kind of module but I never listen to him because seems like he tells me nothing but lies. I'm just hoping it's nothing major where I have to spend a small fortune.

Sorry, i dont know for sure without the schematic. A quick search shown that the fuse for the gauge is the 10A on the driver side. Take a look at that one.
However, most likely your cluster is toasted! I think your tech is full of @$&#. The mileage is stored on the cluster itself and there is no module i could think of (unless he is talking about a relay of some source).
You could get a used cluster from Ebay for $100 or so and try to see if that will work. I have taken many clusters apart and i am somewhat skeptical that the gauge isn't toasted.
