See the white hotspot on those pictures? The passenger side is like a half oval under the cutoff, which is how it should be.... The driver side looks a tad bit off to me, like the hotspot is expanding the width of the beam. Maybe it's how the IS projectors are, I haven't really taken a look at mine.
Did you ever look to see if those ballasts you found go to your low beams or not?
Not a clue how to fix the hot spot? Do you mean I need to rotate the bulb?
There are four ballast two to the dogs and two to the low beam.
from your latest picture looks like the driver side can go little higher and the passenger side can go down to line up to the driver side... which should line up like the picture below
Well few problems I can't get that bulb put its impossible with the room left at the driver side. Would have to remove the whole bumper.
I don't know if I can adjust the driver side any higher because the lifter already popped out of the joint once.
I am going to lower the passenger side
And I can't aim the light left to right. I for some reason can't get the screw driver into that slot.
You should have no trouble getting to the drivers side bulb just by removing the filler tube for the windshield washer tank. It's actually much easier than the passenger side.

Ya I'm selling it. Either going to get a is350 or a gs of some sort.
