Exclamation 06 IS250 RWD; Transmission/Navigation issues

Okay so! My 06 Lexus is250 rwd is having some issues. 144k miles. It seems as if it stutters upon taking off or just pulling into my neighbor hood at low speed. The check VCS light is on along with the traction control and of course my fav check engine light.

I got 2 opinions today from a family friend. He basically just said I just need a new tranny. He too has the same car and had to get a transmission. The code that's coming up is P2757.

I definitely cannot afford a $4500 transmission from the actual dealer so I am in the market to buy a used one, but it seems impossible to even find one. Could someone please kick me towards the right direction.

Navigation: it's a total blank screen. Fuses were checked and they are all good. So would I need a whole new unit? It use to come on and off and now it's just been totally off! And with summer approaching I need my AC considering the screen controls it all. Any input would be much appreciated!

A suggestion while waiting for your navigation unit to be fixed: Does your voice recognition feature still work? If so, you can turn the air conditioner on and off and set the temperature using voice commands.

Check your local junkyards for a transmission (LKQ has them for $550 for the 06 IS250 AT). eBay also has them for $500+

I've checked. No luck. eBay is flooded with transmissions but mostly awd. No luck for rwd.

Thank you. I really didn't know I was able to fit a high model tranny into my 2006.

Bottom left button on the right side of the steering wheel activates voice recognition. (Hard to believe you've never pressed it )

Press it, and after the beep say:

Automatic air conditioning on
Automatic air conditioning off
temperature 72 degrees
warmer
cooler

Hey y'all,
I found a transmission but it's from a 2007 is250. Would it still fit in my 06?
It's a 2007 is250 rwd transmission with 78K miles on it for $1200.
And mines is a 2006 is250 rwd. Just wanted to make sure before I spent that much.

You pressed the button with the icon that looks like a head with sound waves coming out of it's mouth, right?

If so, bummer, I guess the logic for the voice recognition is in the module that's not working.

Yeah definitely sucks! I'm going to get a second opinion first before I blow money towards a transmission. I'll let you know.
