Default Straight piped!

To moderator: please move this to the "Performance" subforum!

I have a 2006 IS250.

Would just deleting the mufflers and resonators give me this sound? Would I be able to pass smog (located in San Francisco, CA)? How would I be able to install an electronic cutout? What are the drawbacks with this setup?

I also really love this sound. Think this is the same as the two above, but with the second cat is deleted. Again, is this legal/will it pass smog?

In California if you delete any of the cats you will not be able to pass a legit smog. As far as deleting the mufflers and resonators that should be fine. To install a electronic cutout you would probably have to take it to an exhaust shop to have them weld it in place, unless you can weld or know someone that can weld.

Here is my car with invida midpipe and I had an exhaust shop make me a straight piped axle back.
