Default Air Desk Mobile

So I was putting in my cluster after replacing my needles and I dropped a screw onto the floor, when I went down to retrieve it I noticed my wiring was tapped into in several places and after tracing the wires I found a tracking device, at least that's what popped up when I searched it up, in my car called Air Desk Mobile by Numurex model ADM3500-4. Now is this something that could have been installed at the dealer or was it installed at a private shop? Another question I have is can I remove this piece of **** out of my car and not worry about it. Car runs fine after I unplugged it. Here are some images of the device and the so called "wiring". I hope someone can help me out here.

i would just unplug the wires from the splice points and tape up the spices. there might be a wire or two that you might need to splice back together but most likely not.
