I haven't seen the thread in here for this is model. Had to buy two different ballasts now for my daughters is. Dumb question . Does it really matter what part number I buy? I have a feeling answer is yes. It's an hid light and one guy at salvage yard told me if one digit in part number is off it doesn't matter. My mechanic said part number was way off from original part to what I bought . He wouldn't even install it now I have to go exchange it if I'm lucky and they'll let me . Any help is appreciated . Dealer ofcourse says to buy the whole assembly but that's big $$. Need help lol

Huh? I don't think it even matters, they all use the same ballast for the most part. When mine went out, I ordered one off of eBay ($60) and it burned out within seconds of installing. So I went to the salvage yard and pulled one off a Lexus ISF for $80. I installed it and it turned on perfectly.

I see so the parts are interchangeable ? This thing been a nightmare . I have the original part number and guy from salvage yard says they're all the same .. I guess as long as turns in should be good .

As long as the part has been confirmed as interchangeable with your model year, it won't matter the part number.
