Default Issue with 2012 OEM LED headlight install.

Wassup CL!

Wondering if anyone has ever encountered this issue before. I just purchased a used set of 2012 LED headlights to put on my 07 IS250. Passenger side was installed fine and is working. However, I'm having issues trying to plug the connectors for the driver side. No matter how hard I push the two clips together it wont latch. Any suggestions on what I can do or know what the issue might be?

Added pics for reference. Any help is appreciated!!!

Oh and I already removed any debris that I could find in all the holes.

Any bent pins? It should go in ... and yeah, it should be a tight fit.

Thanks for responding Raj! I take a look at it again. It stops about half way. Will keep you updated. Keeping my fingers crossed that it will be an easy fix. I don't want to shell out money for a pro to take a look at it.

Where in the Bay Area are you...? If you don't get it in, I could look real quick before you take it to a shop.

I'm in Milpitas/North SJ area. Let me know if you can take a quick look before Friday. Appreciate the help, Raj!

Try taking out the white plastic piece in the 2nd pictures it should pull right out and try connecting it. If it goes in after taking out the white plastic then try to reposition the white plastic and try again if it still won't go in then check your pin again

Thanks Raj for offering to help to check it out.

jay350 you just saved me $120!!!!!

Beer on me for the both of you!!!!

Below is a picture of the culprit. Looks like the original owner of the headlights might be missing the white plastic piece on the female connector.

I'm really excited on how it turned out! Here's a pic!

Now for the next difficult part....contorting my body to install the flasher relay.

One more thing...when I turned on my headlights I noticed the light out put beam was higher than the other. How do I know which side needs to be adjusted up or down?
