Howdy folks,

Quick poll for you all. When choosing your car, did the color of it matter?

I vote yes. I originally wanted White, or that dark gray color ( I forget it's name) but when I saw my car in person while looking around with all the packages I wanted including the sport with the Mark Levinson , I really loved the Tungsten Pearl color and bought the car then and there.

So while I technically like most of the colors, I still vote yes because color still does matter to me. Like if the car were Matador Red or Obsidian Black or Glacier Frost Mica I would have not purchased it.

Edit: Fixed. I meant to say if it was Glacier Frost Mica I wouldn't have bought it , not Starfire Pearl lol.

Absolutely matters, Color is one of the main focal points on the aesthetics side. Your build has to reflect your color too.

Wanted the starfire pearl, had to settle for tungsten pearl.. TP isn't bad once I got used to it, the black wrapped roof helps.. Not an extremely huge deal if I can find what options I at least want with a different color.

On the topic of color, if we're going to talk about interior color as well, black is preferred, but in the south, I settled with the light gray. Burned myself too many times wearing shorts in the summer... Would be open to switching though.

I like how most Tungsten owners (me included) say they "settled" for it over another color. Lol. It's like all of us didn't even want this but the car just happened to have all the right things and good mileage so we just said screw it

Wanted starefire pearl, but settled for nebula gray pearl. Didn't know how I felt about it initially, but i learned to love it since there wasn't a lot of those in my area, but as soon as i got it, i noticed almost every 2011+ around was also nebula gray lol

Yes - color is the main attraction of the car. Each model has its own ''fetish'' color.

2IS are Smoky Granite Mica or Ultrasonic Blue Mica!!

Absolutely it did matter. Might as well get what you want when you have to look at it everyday.

Absolutely. As long as it isn't some dumb color like 1970's barf green. Looks like grandmas couch.
