Hello. My car wouldn't start and the check engine light came on. My friend tested the codes and it was for a misfire. I researched and the ZLA warrenty does cover this but only up to 9 years from the original date of purchase. I was a month past the expiration date! Lexus said they would pay 25% of the cost, but the estimate is $7,500! I'm trying to see if there's an alternative to replacing the pistons and incurring such a large bill. Has anyone done a Top Engine Clean or had experience with this? I appreciate any recommendations.
