Question. After I plugged in the antenna the GPS popped up on the top left under the compass as its suppose to and started working again. I just had my dash replaced and noticed the GPS isnt under the compass anymore but its working properly. Im curious as to why that is now.

Sounds like the dealer failed to plug the antenna in properly too. If you aren't seeing the GPS indicator under the compass and map scale, it means that the unit is estimating your position using the speed and steering angle sensors, and that it's only a question of time before it shows you in the wrong location on the map.

Really? Ive been driving around all weekend and took a trip up to my moms which is about an hour away. It read the correct roads the entire time. Are you sure what youre saying is correct?

Yes, I'm certain. Also, from page 268 in the navigation system manual that came with the car:
This navigation system calculates the current vehicle position using satellite signals, various vehicle signals, map data, etc. However, the accurate position may not be shown depending on the satellite condition, road configuration, vehicle condition or other circumstances.
When your vehicle is receiving signals from the satellites, the “GPS” mark appears at the top left of the screen.
