Can anyone comment on the gasket fitment as pictured below?

 

that's a rubber piece to prevent it from scratching the paint off that area if the light housing moves at all...

 

This piece started to peel after a few washes on my Spec D. If you flip it you'll see that it has a little lip. Where it seats on the lamp itself. I took some super glue and lightly ran it on the gasket. You just want to add a quick smear then carefully place it back on the lamp. It's been holding up since then on many car washes, and a couple of hard freezes.

 

Can you guys take more picture when you are free at different angles? please and thanks!! still debating lol.. i am leaning on the yes side...

Or course. They definitely stick out more than OEMs but I didn't even notice until someone said it. It by no means is an issue.
