Default Power surge?

Last night on the way home on the freeway, I started getting a power surge. Car is an 08' with 91k. Kind of coincidental that I got an oil change yesterday. Looked under the hood to see if anything was loose and see nothing. Car drops rpm's with no power for a few seconds and then normal. No CEL's.

Anyone have an idea? Any help is appreciated, thank you..

Sounds really random. Perhaps try resetting the entire vehicle by disconnecting the battery for at least 20 minutes. It'll be like rebooting a PC after weird stuff happens. It might help, or it might not.

This is happening again but more frequently. Was just at the dealer for a recall and told them about it and they told me oil possibly got on an O2 sensor when I got the oil change. It is now happening more since I was at the dealer so that theory isn't possible. Still no CEL's.

Anyone else with ideas?

How would oil get on (either inside or outside the exhaust) the O2 sensor during an oil change? WTF?

Fuel pump going bad? Do you often run your tank extra low on gas?

This still has me baffled. In the warm temps, 75-85 no issues. When the Temps at night drop into the 40 -50's is when it is happening.
