Hello all

For Gen2 Lexus IS headlights,
What is the difference between the ones on 2006-2009 and the ones on 2010-2013?

When i search for an aftermarket headlight, most of them seems to be for 2006-2009 or 2006-2010
Why won't these fit on the later models? (I have a 2011 model)
Will i be able to install 2006-2009 headlight directly onto my 2011 model?

I tried to search for the answer but i couldn't find a straight answer. If this has already been discussed please kindly provide the link.

2011 no afs flat black housing led strip is slightly yellow
2012-2013 no afs gloss black housing white led strip

Also the 2009 if you look closely the headlight housing where the lowbeam sits in is smaller

Oh no, i'm not getting rid of my headlight.
I have my headlight baked, blacken and installed angel light on it already.

I was just curious because i always saw the aftermarket headlights for 2006-2009 models but not the newer model
