Hey guys. Let's say I work at a small customs shop and we're bringing a car to a show with a gorgeous Gold-to-Silver chameleon color on it. I've convinced the guys on the paint booth to squeeze my spoiler in to be painted that color, and they brought up I should just get a replacement to be painted and keep mine so I can put the stock GFM spoiler on when I sell it.

Any recs on a good cheap OEM replacement spoiler?

And also, I've heard GFM is incredibly hard to match. Or maybe go for the gold? (Can you tell I'm in love with that color? )

I took a quick video of it for reference (it's mostly gold, and esp. bright gold head-on, and esp in sunlight, and silver if you're looking from 90 degrees. This indooor lighting doesn't do it justice).

Google OEM Thing. He's aebay seller that specializes in good oem fitting spoilers and such. I'd buy the replica and paint it rather than painting over your stock spoiler. 98% of eBay front lips fit like crap FYI.

So I'm confused. You'll be installing a gold spoiler and front lip on a SGM IS? If so, sounds like a Honda fan boy type of thing. But hey, it's your car and if you like it, it's all that matters.

That's not inaccurate. I actually worked for Honda R&D. These cars are also cheap enough for the Honda crowd now, so..

Let me get this straight, your body shop is spraying a color you like, and you want to bring in just your lip for them to spray it that color, and not match the rest of your car?
