Is it possible to paint over the new carbon fiber hood? How will they look after paint? The same color as other part?

I prefer the same color as car like attachment pic.

You shouldn't have issue painting carbon fiber to match the paint of other panels. It all has to do with the shop's skill at paint mixing to match the factory's or the color of your car.

Oup!!!

I mean the surface of Seibon carbon fiber hood can paint? Because different material and surface may result in different color.

If it can, I will order them and let the painting work by local shop.

but paintin on cf wont look smooth isn't it? i remember one on my buddy's 350z has a cf hood and he painted it to the body colour and it just don look that good on da finishings..

its a seibon hood.

just make sure you take it to a shop that painted CF before. I heard you can get a lot of fisheye on carbon.

If a body shop preps the carbon fiber right and paints in clean environment, you shouldn't have much issue.

My door had bunch of fish eyes and bubbles because they painted in dusty garage and did a lousy job on the prep. It's not even carbon. It all boils down to the shop and how they prep before the paint.

I had my hood wrapped not painted so that I would be able to go back to carbon fiber down the road

I have seen it been done as long as they prep the carbon the correct way.

I also have seen some customer paint them with a transparent clear w a tint for like a black lexus.
i have to say they come out looking pretty clean.

Im always split on painting carbon fibre, or leaving it, I suppose each car has a different feeling or vibe.
