Default Newly Purchased CPO IS350 - Warranty Void

I apologize if this is repetitive but here goes:

As the title reads I've just recently purchased a 2010 CPO IS350 - Since then I've purchased Swift springs and Tokico Struts. Looking at buying Tanabe exhaust and joe z intake etc.

As I understand it, voiding the warranty on parts can only happen if the dealer can prove that the aftermarket parts caused the failure. I understand that the springs and struts could possibly void various suspension parts coverage if they every failed but how about the exhaust/intake. Does anybody have any experience with any issues not being covered because of an aftermarket exhaust/intake? I don't see any reason why they would be then again they are the stealership.

Any input is appreciated

Fair enough - intakes quick but id prefer not to have an exhaust hanging around the garage.

From the FTC website:

Still, if it turns out that the aftermarket or recycled part was itself defective or wasn't installed correctly, and it causes damage to another part that is covered under the warranty, the manufacturer or dealer has the right to deny coverage for that part and charge you for any repairs. The FTC says the manufacturer or dealer must show that the aftermarket or recycled part caused the need for repairs before denying warranty coverage.

Good to hear. Im not concerned about the suspension components as much. Past experiences with a 335i carbon build-up issues not being covered has me scarred.

Appreciate the input
