Removing mods before dealership visit
I recently purchased a 2007 IS350 with 55k miles. From what I've read the car should still be under the 6yr/60k powertrain warranty. When driving the car, i've been noticing hard shifting primary on gears 1-3 and especially when rolling to a stop sign and accelerating from a slow corner.
I am planning on bringing the car into the dealership to have the transmission checked. Before I do, should I remove the mods that was installed by the previous owner just in case they blame it on the after market parts? The car comes with F-sport exhaust and after market intake.

Your only mods are exhaust/intake?
The only way the dealer will void any type of warranty is if the modified part caused that part or other related parts to have issues.
If you have an aftermarket exhaust and your nav screen dies, they cant blame that. But if your cats fail or you get a bad 02 sensor, thats sometihng that could be potentially blamed on the exhaust

^^ He is right. They cannot void your warranty on something just by having aftermarket parts present on the car - unless the aftermarket part caused the failure. The exhaust and intake mods would not cause a failure in the transmission. For something like a transmission to be voided/not repaired under warranty due to mods, you'd have to have something like a turbo or supercharger present that would be capable of causing damage to the transmission.
There's a law that applies to these kinda situations:

I have other minor mods that would not be applicable in this situation such as lights, and alarm. Only intake and exhaust mods to the engine.
Is this a common issue with the isx50?. I tried googling the issue and only found 1 other with similar issue.

I've only driven the car the for maybe 400 miles after the ecu reset. Does it really take a few thousand miles for the car the learn my driving habit?
