I have a set of Work Kiwamis 19x9.5 +25 Front and 19x10.5 +22 Rear and got a good deal on some Hankook Evo2 tires in 225/35/19 and 245/35/19. Does anyone have any experience with stretching these tires? Someone mentioned to me that Hankooks are hard to stretch and suggested I get different tires for this set up, browsing the forums it seems this has been done a few times.
Hankook is the way to go. Everyone get's them and I heard it last long. It stretched well also. So don't worry. I'm getting the same exact tire spec but Achilles ATR sport. bcoz it's stupid cheap.

Thanks for the input, I'm glad I went with the Hankook
I got Hankook evo2 on my car now, love the ride for the price, it is better than the first Hankook Evo they replaced with, the only downside is these tires don't have the wheel lip protection design like the other manufactures

Cool thanks man, have you ran into any issues damaging your wheels? The roads here are pretty bad so it is a concern

Not yet I am running 245-30-20 on 20x9 and 285-30-20 on 20x10.5, even with this wide tires but still not cover the lip of my rims, I am kinda scare to scrape my lip, but evo2 are firmer than the first Evo and better traction wet or dry compare to the previous Evo they replaced with
Ps: when you go with stretch tires just be careful, don't turn your car fast as high speed, you don't want to roll your rims lip on the pavement

Get some good quality tires when u stretch tires. I had achillies on my previous sets of wheel and not even crazy stretch 225/35 on 9 and 265/30 on 10 and after 6 months of driving i notice some vabation while im driving on freeway so i took off my wheel and I notice all 4 tires have bubbles on the inner side of the tires... 1 I can understand if u hit a hard bump and cause it but ALL 4 i blame the manufacturer... sometimes u get what u pay for
