Has anybody had these recall done, and does it make your car feel better, smoother, more power?

 

Yes, I had my valve spring recall done three or four years ago. There was no change, for the better or worse, in the engine's performance or smoothness, nor did I expect there to be. The recall is to correct a condition that is likely to cause a bent valve and other costly engine damage when/if the original faulty springs fail. Just do it.
