2007 IS 250 AWD, with 217,000 miles. It's been throwing code P0037. Guy at the parts store told me I needed Bank 1, Sensor 2. However, the parts computer indicates either right side of car or left side of car. On this car, is Bank 1, Sensor 2 the left or right? Am I correct that this is the sensor that is on the exhaust pipe, roughly under the seats?

This is the diagram for IS350 but i think the IS250 might be similar. Do a google search and i am sure you will find similar diagram for your car.

 

Yes, bank 1 sensor 2 is under the seats on the passenger side.
