Came across this Spec'd Tuning video of the new style led tail lights for our 250/350 cars. What's do you think?

 

looks good to me. but doesnt fit 09-10?

 

I hope the ones I got from Nigel look cleaner. No hate but it seems like the outer larger bar isn't as well lit as the two inner bars on the trunk lid... inconsistent. Maybe it's just me. Then with the brakes on its all a blur but maybe that's just on video. Or i'm just bitter cause I paid more lol.

But... I'm glad we finally got video. Thank you for finding this!

 

In one thread your complaining about aftermarket lights and in this one your talking about buying them. I don't get you haha

 

There some pictures floating around Japan of the ones Nigel is selling i believe and up close and lit up they look cheap to me.

 

I was talking about the quality of the ebay headlights not being as good as oem or a retrofit in the terms of output and reliability for those looking for a cheap led strip. If you know anything about that you would get me. That thread is very specific to the led ebay strip headlights.

Since we are speaking on it though... there was a reason why I went with Nigel's set over these. So still... oem or better continues to be why I bought them. Just hoping it still goes that way. I've had several aftermarket taillights no problem... just know better to leave the headlights alone. ^_^

 

I would change the reverse led bulb to a brighter one.

 

I was planning to get the white one but after the video they look awful.

 

I'm going to have to agree with you on that. When they're turned off, they look like they don't belong...

 

Great DIY video; seems to be plug and play for none LED taillights. I am still on the fence of which one to get. I agree the clear onea look awful when they are ON. I will most likely go with the all red set.

 

Ordered my set already. All red tho. All white look to ricey!

Im on the fence about em. After seeing the video, the lines seem like they dont flow well inside the housing

 

seen them on instagram recently. thought they looked good but the lighting seems insufficient. I would probably end up with the red ones but something isn't sitting right with me could be the lighting inconsistency towards the outside.

 

Looks cheap tbh, I don't like how the light diffuses into the rest of the taillight instead of being just straight bars like OEM.
