Exclamation Help please... Urgent.

So I've had my Lexus for 30 days now and I finally receive my license through the mail. I'm excited to put it on though I come to realize that my temporary license has been hanging on by one bolt and that there was a stripped broken bolt lodged in the other hole.
I've been to every mechanic, body shop, home depot you name it with disappointing results.
I had to have this done and my license plate on TODAY. So I went handy man mode and this is the result:
I feel terrible I tried a drill bit extractor and as you can see I'm 'screwed and in need of help now before everything closes and I'm stuck...

If you ram a screw in it, it will mess up the threads correct. But your threads are already cashed.

So you can either drill the hole with a drill, use a tap and die kit. Re-tap the hole with proper thread pitch and use the correct bolt.

or

Ram a screw in that mother and the other side too so it matches. Its a license plate screw, You only mess with them when you buy the car to put a plate on, or when you sell it to remove the plate.

Yeah I'd re-tap the hole. Go get a tap and die set at harbor freights. If all else fails then rivet that side in, jus sayin.
