Squeaking passenger seat back when adjusting
Can anyone help me fix this issue? I am hoping the fix doesn't involve tearing the entire seat apart and can be fixed with some properly placed lubricant.
When adjusting the back of the passenger seat, it squeaks pretty badly. I suspect it's the motor, but I don't know for sure. Any ideas?

my bolsters squeek every time i move... its really annoying but i think the only way to fix it is to take the seat apart. I just turn the music up to ignore it rather than taking it apart.
different problem but i suspect you'll have to take it apart as well.
good luck.

I only get the squeaks when move in my seat, NOT when electronically adjusting the seat. I don't know if it has to do with the plastic factory tab or something else. Like what was previously mentioned, I just crank the tunes!
The part that moves is on the side between the seat back and the cushion. You can probably pull the trim panels back or leather and spray some silicone inside there. It shouldn't be very difficult if it is coming from that specific area. Now if its coming from like the cushion and resonating then you are tearing seat leathers off frames.
