Are you sure you top off the right fluid? The car has coolant and washer fluid..

Definitely should go away right away. Even just taking a corner can cause mine to come on and off if the fluid level is right at the border line.

clean the connectors and the float switch, they may be sticking.

Yeah there is nothing to reset, it's an instant thing.

Do you know if there is a floater in the reservoir that might have stuck in a down position? Getting to the connector is not simple

No, there's just a simple "switch" and gasket at the bottom of the tank. The switch is able to read whether it is sitting in fluid or not and then tells the cluster it's empty.

BTW, anyone else ever get freaked the hell out when that error message comes up thinking it was something which worse? LOL!

YUP! First time my light came on was because of a broken valve spring which destroyed the motor.
so needless to say when my light comes on I get the instant panic and start listening for noises. Then I see it says low washer fluid. Phew dogged a bullet lol.

If I remember right, if you loosen up the front driver's side wheel liner enough to gain access behind it, you should be able to access it. Going straight off of my memory though...could be wrong. Otherwise, you'll need to remove the engine under panel and gain access from underneath the front end.
