Default Shaved Fenders

Any body here shave their fenders instead of rolling them? If so have you had any issues? I'm going to need a fender roll soon but I was thinking about shaving instead, I'm better with a grinder than with a fender roller lol

My rears have been shaved for years fronts rolled. No issues just make sure u prime and paint the exposed metal.
