Modded Gen2 IS is better looking than Modded Gen3 IS
Now that Southern California is saturated with Lexus IS models (Gen2 & Gen3). I noticed more and more (personal opinion) a modded Gen 2 IS looks so much better and more aggressive than a modded Gen 3 IS.

It might be the case for a while, the 3Is doesn't have too much aftermarket support yet since it's still a new car. I'm sure you will think the opposite later on.

The 3IS just looks so modern. That has to be your thing. At first I hated it, definitely preferred the 2IS, but now I'm newly in love with the 3IS F Sport.

Yes the IS market is so saturated. Honestly, if I knew there would have been so many I wouldn't have bought my 2007 IS almost 8 years ago.I think the new generation looks better, but it has to grow on you. The 3rd generation's interior in my opinion is light-years better than the 2nd generation.

I actually like the 3IS with its aggressive front grill look. The 2IS still looks good after many years also.

2is still looks great but the 3is looks ultra modern. personally i dislike the 3is tail lights where as the 2is IMO looks great all around.

not to mention, the material/design on the back of the front seats on a 3is is very cheap.

if you put the key fobs of a modded 2IS and 3IS in front of me... i'd grab the 3IS. Everytime one is near me I be looking lol.

In my opinion, the 2IS's looks will be "timeless" and more appealing to a wider market; whereas the 3IS is niche and is not for everyone with its aggressive styling.

Post this question on the 3IS forum and see what responses you'd get. I prefer the 3IS design, even though I have a 2IS but not enough to make me buy one. Put both keys infront of me - cya later 2IS lol.

I think the 3IS is more futuristic looking than the 2IS. I like how they did the rear taillights but not the small headlights with the separate DRL LEDs.

Although the 3IS rides and handles better. The 2IS is a lil quicker. The 3IS has a more modern design but its kinda blocky while the 2IS is more rounded design. IMO, I still think the 2IS is the best looking..
