Currently I have a injen intake. I noticed on a lot of cars that have intakes, when they give the car a bit of gas their intake makes kind of a whistle sound. I was wondering how I can get my intake to make the sound.. Does anyone else get it? Maybe its the certain intake filter? Any input would be great thanks!

 

My Civic has that, it's kinda like a sucking sound. Don't think you can make it up.

Mine whistles... I only really notice it if I am in traffic slowly going up a hill and barely touching the gas. I would prefer if it didn't, but doesn't really bother me too much. Also, Injen intake and M2 exhaust.

 

I know what sound you mean, its a noticeable sucking sound. I can hear it on my car with just a joe z intake pipe. but its like low speed, higher gear situations when im giving it throttle...

it don't think its something you can create though. some cars just sound different with intakes

 

they dont make them for our cars but on my F-150 i had a throttle body spacer and an air raid intake. The spacer created that whistle sound you are talking about. I have heard an is350 that made this sound going about 3 mph but I didnt stop him to ask anything. He rolled to a stop and I heard it as he was going over a speed bump. Ford turbo diesel whistle
