After many hours of work taking off the front bumper, dealing with stripped screws, and keeping 100 clips organized, I realized that LED lightbulbs in a projector headlight suck. I bought some 6000k bulbs for my foglights and headlights. The fogs look fantastic over stock, but it seems like I can barely see the road with my headlights now. Should have I seen this coming? (no pun intended). I just really dont want to take everything apart again. Any advice or info helps. Thanks.
Honestly, if you can't see much from the LED, go back to your stock bulbs or 6k like you mentioned. You will probably have to redo the whole process again.
Sorry to hear. I had 6K hid headlights and fog lights. This was perfect and a nice white color. The higher the Kelvin, the more blue and less you can see. I didn't have to remove my bumper to install either set of bulbs.
Are you kidding me??!! Everything I have read said that The bumper needed to be removed to take out the headlight assembly, therefore being able to take out the stock headlights. I have 6000k in both the projector low beams and the fog lights. I just didn't know if it was common sense that LED's in projectors don't work as well, or if my mind just expected HID type brightness.
How do you get to the low beam compartment without removing the bumper? Is it right under my nose and I am just missing it?

I bought a pair of led headlight bulbs after reading a thread from ct? forum I believe.
and they did not fit properly, and the lights did not look anything like the reviews by the forum members. so I sent them back and got a full refund. now im looking to get hid kits for both headlights and fogs.
and you don't have to take the bumper off to change the bulbs.
Now that we are on this subject, would buying whiter halogen light bulbs do anything for me looks wise? Not that the stock ones were yellow, but I like the white with a blue tint look. Obviously I don't know how these projector headlights work haha. And not really looking to go the expensive route of HID's.

looks like we are on the same boat. i didn't like the stock halogen looks either. tried searching for some decent halogen bulbs but the cost was about the same as hid kits. hid kits are brighter and lasts much longer. some of the members suggested kensun brand. they have very good reviews and priced decent.
I'm going to put one halogen back in and see if I can tell a huge difference between the two sides. I am almost positive I will be taking the LED's out and returning them. But the fogs do look much better now. Thanks for the help guys. I was really hoping that I was just forgetting something because I love the color of these lights, but that't not a good enough excuse to have barely 20ft visibility.
Get a 4300k hid kit for both HL/Fogs if you want best visibility.
Or do a retrofit and change out either the lens/projects on the stock headlights. Its a huge disadvantage that our bulbs go in at a 90 degree angle instead of just straight through like other cars.
I installed the second ones you posted, $60 per pair. Visibility might also be lacking because of the blueish tint the light has, therefore not lighting things up as well as pure white. Mine were the 6K. But no matter the specs, the LED bulb's light just gets thrown everywhere instead of having that crisp horizontal line, like when you pull up to a garage door or wall.
