Default Broken rim, need help with replacing.

Over the weekend I smashed up my rim pretty good. Will need to find a replacement. What is the best way to find one? I've checked ebay and found that I can get a replacement for anywhere from $120-150, is there anything else I'm going to need besides just the rim? My car is an 07 IS350, just with the stock rims on it.

Any help and questions for me would be greatly appreciated.

Did you bend it or break it? Those mobile wheel repairs facilities that most Lexus dealers have access to can sometimes work miracles.

definitely broken. very big chunk taken out of the wheel, 2 smaller pieces were laying on the ground that I had to pick up.

If I buy a rim, do I have to worry about anything else to come with it, like the TPS, or will that be able to be taken off my current wheel?

This is looking like my best bet. I'm just wondering if I need to worry about any sensors not being included. I can get all of that stuff off of my old rim, right?

Replacing the wheel would be the least of my worries, have you inspected the car yet?

I haven't taken it anywhere. I'm pretty worried as well.

With the spare there's some rubbing going on when turning right. Almost sounds like when you'd stick a pop can in your tire of your bike as a kid. Then it looks like the fender is a bit moved on the front side. I'm definitely going to need an alignment, driving home I had to have the wheel turned a pretty good amount to be going straight.

Sounds like you may need more than an alignment, I would recommend getting a professional to look at it before you continue to drive.

Yea you must have messed something up if u managed to destroy your oem wheel like that. You should start by checking for bent arms and your wheel hub.

What did you smash your rim on? pothole, curb, accident?

You can reuse ur TPMS, if it didnt break on the impact.

To crack and break off portions of the OEM wheel, you definitely hit something incredible hard and I HIGHLY recommend having the suspension looked at. Just replace the wheel with new used of the same size; just make sure the listing says the wheel has be turned and is true.

I had a similar thing happen to me, a piece of my right front rim broke off when I hit a curb turning going 80mph, showing off the power of an is350 while drunk. I bought a set of 4 oem rims for 300 in great condition from Craigslist. Only needed one but seller wanted to sell the set. Figured it was $75 each. Sold the 3 I didn't need on eBay and here for $125 each. Takes longer to sell cuz most people are looking for a full set. Sold my damaged rim to metal recycle yard for $17.

Got alignment. Car still wobbling. Took to Lexus, they said my wheel bearing messed up. Played dumb and got it fixed free under warranty=profit. Most likely your wheel bearing jacked up. Follow my steps and profit. Good luck.
