Coin Tray
Hey guys,
I've been having a rattle from the coin tray panel to the left of the steering wheel. A couple of years back I accidentally bumped my knee pretty hard into the panel while trying to get into the car, resulting in the whole panel getting loose. It's loose enough that whenever I go over bumps or uneven road surfaces, it makes a rattling noise. I took the car to Lexus dealer under warranty 2 separate times, and each time they put some styrofoam layers behind the panel to make it more stiff & rattle free. But after 1 week the panel becomes loose again & the rattle is back. Is there anything I could try myself to tighten panel before taking it in, short of scotch taping it tight? lol.
The pic shows the panel I'm talking about. It's the whole ENTIRE gray panel that's loose (not just the part in red box):

Its just clips holding the top one with 2 screws holding the bottom one. Its very complicated set of hooks/holders. Never been able to get this part off. Ure going to have to get in there and tap it, shake it bend it to find the hook thats loose.
good luck.
good luck.
