Edit: I ran out and took pics of the lights on the car now (sorry, car is dirty and pics taken with a potato)

I have yet to install my second set. I tried once before but I couldn't get the edges of the vinyl to settle around the bevels of the that amber section. I might have used too much water but I don't really know. Have any tips?

Mine isnt perfect at the edges and there is prob 1mm of amber exposed as well as some parts of the vinyl that didnt lay flat. However you will only notice if you are inches away looking for it so i left it as is.

As for tips - i used water on the flat side but any pieces that are folding be VERY conservative with how much water you use otherwise it'll slide around too much and not have a chance to stick.

i noticed that majority of these are all diy (which I support)...
However, for my 09 250, the amber turn signal is on the end and is oddly shaped... I had a guy at a local tint/ vinyl shop do mine with red vinyl.
If you do decide to go this route, their install should consist of two pieces of vinyl per turn signal (four total) to cover the face and contours so it doesn't peel off after time or after a high pressure car wash!

Good luck.

Default Still good after a little over a year

So it's still pretty red (though slightly less red than at first) after 1 year and 1 month. I Park outside all year long (no garage space, fml) and no clear coat. I am going to respray and apply optilens when I get a chance and plan on switching the bulb to red LEDs
