Trying to fix my friend's lexus is250 navigation and discover this:



Can this be fixed? Called Lexus dealership but they said I need to purchase a new navigation unit for $7000.

 

I would check with this guy on ebay to see if he can replace/repair that specific ribbon. Quite a few members on here have used his services with positve results .
