I may need to go through this procedure soon...all because I was tired and not paying attention while trying to align my left projector. Spent all day trying to pull the housing back onto the screw but doesn't seem to have worked.

 

Turns out that HID ballast was toast as well, so I took advantage of the nice weather today to get this done! Here are some more pics, it honestly isn't that bad if you take your time, and use tools creatively to get this damn socket pried open without breaking.

 

Same thing just happened to me. Its BS. We just trying to adjust our beams and then it gets broken easily. Lexus should fix this for free.

 

If you adjust it until it snaps, it's aimed very high.
